5 Cute Toddler Backpacks under $50

Do you have a toddler starting daycare or preschool this fall? A friend of mine asked me for a few affordable backpack suggestions, so I put this list together with my favorites. Esther at BuyModernBaby also posted some great ones this week (featuring Crocs, Legos, and more), so be sure to check those out!

Here are a list of five cute brands that are affordable with a price point under $50.

The Coq en Pate MIBO backpacks ($49) have been at the top of my list for the past year. New designs are out now (the Gorilla and Polar Bears as two), and they look perfect for little kids heading off to school. Shak-Shuka is one of my favorite European boutiques and their shipping to the US is completely affordable at only $8.95. Check out all of the featured animals and find your favorite!

Also found at Shak-Shuka are the fun Nobodinoz Calm Cat, Foxy Fox, and Berry Bear backpacks ($46). With pop-up ears, comfortable straps, and a top zipper, these bags are sure to be easy to use and stylish for your little one.

Sugarbooger always pleases with their prints, and I love the Ocean, Matryoshka Dolls, and Bottle Caps backpacks ($28). BuyModernBaby features the Pencil print, which is modern, clean, and totally design-drool-worthy.

Skip Hop Zoo Packs ($20) little kid backpacks have become so popular that you can pick one up at your nearest BuyBuyBaby, Target, and even Barnes & Noble. The hedgehog is a recent addition to their large line of adorable animals. My son had (and loved) the dinosaur for daycare and it was the perfect size for his infant and early toddler gear.

Wildlife Mini Backpacks ($27) are from Lassig and now owned by Haba. For every bag from this collection purchased, Lassig donates a portion to the Momella Foundation and two of their conservation projects: the Big Cat Guardians and the Sparkling Elephant Project. Look cute and feel good!
