Ahhhhh….sleep. Sweet, comfortable sleep…
I think that the first years of life after the birth of a child is spent obsessing over infant and toddler sleep, and it can become entirely consuming. From researching what swaddle and sleep sack people loved and used, to what sound machine and sleep soother was a favorite of friends, to becoming desperate and superstitious about insane rituals, I have pretty much run the gamut on the topic. One of the items that had been essential when our son was younger was the HALO SleepSack. We loved using this product after our son Houdini’d his way out of another swaddle brand, and with the SleepSack we could wrap his arms close to him or wrap him underneath his arms when he preferred the closeness to his chest but wanted his arms free.
And now that our son is a little older…
…the excellent news is that HALO has introduced two new SleepSack sizes: the Early Walker and Big Kids SleepSack. They recently sent us the Early Walker SleepSack for a review and we are so impressed that we had to share this with you, and offer a giveaway from HALO. The new SleepSacks are available in a lightweight fabric, as well as Micro-Fleece and Comfort Mesh.
HALO’s wearable blankets are notable, and I must quote them here to highlight their importance:
HALO Innovation’s SleepSack® wearable blankets have become the standard for hospital nurseries and parents alike. In fact, 1,000 hospital nurseries use the HALO SleepSack Swaddle instead of blankets through the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative.
Need another reason to love SleepSacks as your child grows from baby to toddler? How about the fact that they are a cute, safe, and inexpensive alternative to children’s bedding? I am going to be honest with you and tell that you that saving money is another great reason to be a fan of HALO’s innovative SleepSacks!

Well since I’m expecting, I’ll say it would be feeding and cuddle time before bed : )
Story time is my son’s favorite.
Both my kids love story time. My 3 year old rushes to get ready for bed so he can read lots of books, and the baby has started pulling books of the shelf and bringing them to me to read.
My little guy loves to rock in the chair with me, always how we end the night.
My little girl loves reading lots of books before bed!

Prayers, kisses and hugs, for sure!
My little grandson wants to be wrapped in my arms and rocked. I sing him old songs until he is sound asleep.

My son sleeps in a Halo Sleepsack, and I’m excited about the new options for when he gets a little bigger! I think his favorite thing is bedtime stories.
My daughter’s favorite bedtime ritual is having me “tickle” her back. I’ve devised a way of propping one arm up with the other so it doesn’t get tired 🙂
My son loves bathtime the BEST!! Its his favorite “before bedtime” ritual. He practically sprints to the bathroom these days and helps me turn on the water, test it, throw the toys in and then helps “clean up”. Our storytime is always in the bath because he just loves it so much! We loved the halo swaddles when he was younger but now that he is super active (both awake AND asleep) we would love to try out this new product! Hope we win!
My son has to read his truck book! I try to hide it, but he screams for it!!
Our favorite time is cuddle time!!! I love the smell of my baby after his bath , so fresh and clean 🙂
My son’s favourite part is tooth brushing. We sing jingle bells. Which is weird, since it’s june! But we’ve been doing it since november, when he went.through a phase of not wanting to brush, and it’s stuck! I’m sure our neighbours think we’re crazy if they hear us 😉
would love to win.
He is one and LOVES to hold your fingers as he falls asleep.
Feeding and sweet snuggle time.
My son loves to be snuggled and rocked to sleep! It’s the best part of my day too!
Nora loves when her Daddy and I sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star before we pit her down for the night!
My daughter’s favorite part of bed time is getting a book read to her and hugs and kisses!
I teach baby care, I’d love to have the cute whales to show parents they can be safe and stylish!
