HALO SleepSack Review & Giveaway

Ahhhhh….sleep. Sweet, comfortable sleep…

I think that the first years of life after the birth of a child is spent obsessing over infant and toddler sleep, and it can become entirely consuming. From researching what swaddle and sleep sack people loved and used, to what sound machine and sleep soother was a favorite of friends, to becoming desperate and superstitious about insane rituals, I have pretty much run the gamut on the topic. One of the items that had been essential when our son was younger was the HALO SleepSack. We loved using this product after our son Houdini’d his way out of another swaddle brand, and with the SleepSack we could wrap his arms close to him or wrap him underneath his arms when he preferred the closeness to his chest but wanted his arms free.

And now that our son is a little older…

…the excellent news is that HALO has introduced two new SleepSack sizes: the Early Walker and Big Kids SleepSack. They recently sent us the Early Walker SleepSack for a review and we are so impressed that we had to share this with you, and offer a giveaway from HALO. Our son loved the freedom that the Early Walker SleepSack offered him with having his feet accessible. He has been in SleepSacks since he was born, so playing with his feet and moving freely was fun for him. The size seemed to have run large, but I liked it as it allowed him to walk around his crib easily, but he could also pull them inside for more warmth during the night. This fits him well, has plenty of room to grow compared to full wearable blankets, was INCREDIBLY soft, and has washed well. This has become one of favorite sleep items for him and I recommend it if your child still wants/needs the extra warmth, but also needs the freedom of mobility.
