Petunia Pickle Bottom Travel Train Case

Mom gear (and just general non-Mom/lady gear)!

Petunia Pickle Bottom not only creates beautiful (and functional!) diaper bags, but also a whole line of accessories such as nursing covers, phone cases, powder room cases, travel train cases, stroller covers, wallets, and shopping totes. A friend of mine (we’ll call her Peaches since she’s from Georgia) and I both own Travel Train Cases and absolutely love them!

Their website describes these cases as having:

  • water-resistant lining
  • Zip-around opening for easy access
  • 1 roomy main compartment, 6 open interior pockets, plus 1 zippered interior pocket
  • Water-resistant lining
  • PVC-Free Glazed wipe-able exterior

Dimensions: 6.25″ L x 9.5″ H x 6″ W

Care: Wipe clean with damp cloth. Spot clean liner with damp cloth.

Peaches gives us a peek at what she was using for her makeup storage…

Now…enter the Afternoon in Auckland print case!

Size comparison to the old case:

Her case packed up:

One of the nicest features about the Travel Train Case is that it looks so attractive sitting out on your counter compared to other makeup case options.

This case isn’t just for makeup essentials. It can be used in your car packed as an emergency care kit (diapers, wipes, band-aids, anti-bac, granola bars). It could be used as a baby food travel kit–pack it with your purees, or travel Zoli case with added lid, a spoon, Ziploc baggie with wet washcloth for clean-up, and a Skip Hop Zoo Bib! Ooo, I actually really like that idea and will have to keep my eyes peeled for a new Petunia print to purchase for that purpose!

I am currently using the Heavenly Holland print case for my makeup essentials. Here she is empty, so full of potential and possibilities.

And here she is fully loaded with my essentials. I keep my case closed, so my brushes are laying on the bottom compared to Peaches having them vertically stored in the side pockets. She has more counter space than I do and can leave this beauty proudly displayed, while I have to pack mine away on a shelf.

Peaches’ Pros and Cons

Pros: adorable print, super spacious, TONS of pockets, looks great on the counter
